Join the Kansas City Kansas Community College Chapter of AAUW for a Women's Equality Day event!  This year, we are honoring Dr. Jacqueline Vietti.

Jacqueline Vietti is a native Kansan who was born and raised in Eureka, KS. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from K-State; a master’s in community college teaching from Pittsburg State University; and, a doctorate in adult and occupational education from K-State.

Following her 12-year tenure at Labette Community College in various administrative roles and a four-year term at Crowder College as Dean of Arts and Sciences/Instruction. Dr. Vietti became President of Butler Community College in 1995. Since her retirement, she has served as interim president for Emporia State and KCKCC. She is a strong advocate of women in leadership roles.

This event is hosted by Women & Gender Advocacy, the Counseling & Advocacy Center, the Intercultural Center and the American Association of University Women.
