The things we hear often is that it’s just another plan that’s going to just sit on the shelf,” says Commissioner Harold Johnson. “I’m committed to making sure these master plans are integrated into everything that we do to enhance our quality of life in Wyandotte County. The master plans are a sign of hope, they are a sign of life, a sign of better times for areas that for far too long have been neglected.”

The summit will also include special guest appearances from the new Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Charles Foust, President of the Kansas City Kansas Community College, Dr. Greg Mosier, Wyandotte County District Attorney Mark Dupree, Deputy Kansas City, Kansas Police Chief, Tyrone Garner and Christal Watson from the Mayor’s Office.
