What is the Stormwater User Fee and How Does it Currently Work?

The Unified Government’s Public Works team is studying how to create a fee system that is both fair for everyone and adequately funds the city’s stormwater infrastructure.
Everyone in the Kansas City, Kansas community is invited to attend. Participants may come and go as they need any time between 4:30 and 7:00 PM. City staff will be available to describe the current stormwater system’s needs, listen to feedback from the community, and answer questions.
Public Works is hosting four public open houses:
December 5 at the Beatrice L. Lee Community Center from 4:30 - 7:00 PM
December 13 at the Eisenhower Recreation Center from 4:30 - 7:00 PM
January 8 at the Armourdale Community Center from 4:30 - 7:00 PM
January 15 at the West Wyandotte Library from 4:30 - 7:00 PM
