BPU Charity Golf Tourney set for September 9, 2017

The BPU Employee Charity Golf Corp. will host its Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at Dub’s Dread Golf Course in Kansas City, Kansas. As part of its on-going commitment to the community, BPU employees sponsor and host this popular annual golf event which, to date, has raised over $500,000 for children’s charities and nonprofits in Wyandotte County. The 2017 tournament kicks off with registration and a continental breakfast at 7:00 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 AM. The individual entry fee is $95.00, which includes greens fees, cart, a continental breakfast, refreshments on the course, and an awards dinner with prizes and free give-aways after the tournament. There are also several opportunities for individuals or companies to contribute or donate to this charity event, including corporate sponsorships at various levels, in-kind donations of gift certificates, golf balls, tees, and other items for use in player goodie bags. About BPU BPU’s water department was originally created in 1909, and its electric utility was operational in 1912. The purpose of the utility, then and to this day, is to provide the highest quality electric and water services at the lowest possible cost.
