UG to Participate in Twitter Town Hall for What Works Cities
You're Invited to a 7/27 Twitter Town Hall with What Works Cities. The Unified Government of Wyandotte County invites you to join them on Wednesday, July 27, from 11:00 to 12:25 p.m. CT, when they will be participating in a Twitter Town Hall about engagement with What Works Cities. As you may be aware, the UG was recently selected to join WWC, a Bloomberg Philanthropies initiative, and through their engagement, they will be receiving expert technical assistance from WWC partners and working to elevate use of data and evidence to improve the lives of wyco residents.
During the Twitter Town Hall, the Center for Government Excellence at Johns Hopkins University (GovEx), one of WWC's partners, will be taking over the WWC handle (@WhatWorksCities). Kansas City and other new cities will have the chance to engage with GovEx on topics including open data, performance management, and the UG's work with the initiative.
The UG invites you to join the discussion or pose questions to them and other participants during the hour, using the hashtag #WWClive.
