Join the Central Avenue Betterment Association for their 2018 Day of the Dead Celebration!

CABA invites you to participate in their Second Annual Central Avenue Day of the Dead Parade on November 3, 2017 from 5 PM to 9 PM.  The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to ask for the well-being of friends and family members who have died and to help support their spiritual journey.

Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars called “Ofrendas”, honoring the deceased using “Calaveras”, Aztec marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts.
